The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office

About six years ago, while Sheriff Clarke was visiting his in-laws, he saw the nationally acclaimed “Shop with a Cop” program advertised in a Green Bay newspaper. The program builds positive relationships with young people in the community and Sheriff Clarke immediately wanted to bring it to Milwaukee County.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office reached out to the Milwaukee-area business community and in 2007, the Sheriff’s vision became a reality. Financial and service donations from a variety of businesses will allow children from the Neighborhood House of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County Sheriff’s deputies to enjoy breakfast and a day of holiday shopping together.

The Shop With a Cop event is Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 8:00am.

Planned timeline:
8:00 am - Officers report to Pieper Boys and Girls Club (611 W. Cherry Street, Milwaukee)
9:45 am - Breakfast at Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel, 375 South Moorland Road, Brookfield.
11:30 am - Depart for Walmart (10600 W. Layton Ave., Greenfield)
12:00 pm - Shopping at Walmart
1:30 pm - Depart Walmart for the Boys and Girls Club
2:00 pm - Pizza and holiday activities
